I’m a lifelong learner and passionate about all things music. When teaching, I focus on creativity, personality and practicality. I’m always astounded at how much each individual's voice brings new sounds to the instruments we are learning.

Performing and producing music has allowed me to share the stage and studio with amazing performers like Gaelynn Lea, Haley E Rydell, J.S. Ondara, Mason Jennings, Tommy Stinson, Wilco and Jakob Dylan. Some highlights include contributing to Gaelynn Lea's 2022 score for Macbeth that premiered on Broadway and producing records for Sarah Morris and Emily Haavik. 

In every lesson, we will cover fundamentals, theory, improvisation, and listening. Whether it's online or in-studio lessons, I’m here to explore how creativity works, share my knowledge about recording and performing music, and enrich our enjoyment of sound while discovering how this mysterious and beautiful thing works.
